OBS Basic Setup

Scenes are the core of your stream look, well designs also but you need to put designs somewhere right?

In scenes you can set up your stream layout, images, videos, labels, alerts, games, webcams, and any other devices or media that you want in the output.

Download OBS Studio here

You can create all kinds of scenes using our Premade designs.

Set up scenes as you like on your own or use our Premade scene already created for you for SLOBS and StreamElements.

Our mission is to give you unlimited options for editing and using our designs.

Move elements, change text, add icons, change backgrounds, and much more…

Creating Scenes

If you want to create Scenes on your own and adjust all images/videos/elements to your likeliness first step would be to create scenes and name them

Click on the “+” and add Scene, name it to what you have in mind creating, Start Scene, Be right Back, Intermission etc..

Obs Name Your Scene
Add Scene In Obs
Add Image Source

Creating manually all scenes depends on what elements you want to add to the scene.

Images, Video, Text or browser link ( alerts from StreamElements or Streamlabs)

Add Image by clicking on the “+” in the Source tab and picking “Image” from the menu list.

Name your image and click “Ok”

Add Video Source

Add Video ( Mp4, Mov, WebM) by clicking on the “+” in the Source tab and picking “Media Source” from the menu list.

Find your video file in the folder and click “Ok” to add it

If you are adding animation that is looping meaning you want it to play constantly don’t forget to check “Loop” in the settings.

Add Text Source

Click on the “+” in the Source menu and choose “Text (GDI+)

In the small new window that opens name your text or add Existing text, you already create ( using existing text is a useful option if you just want to use the same text on different scenes)

Create new text, name it and click Ok to move on next step, in the next settings window you will need to find the font you want to use, click on the “Select font” button, and type the font you want to use.

You can select size and other font settings like font style, effects, and size.

The next step is selecting font color, alignment, outline, etc.. you can just go over settings and see what style you prefer.

Add alerts and overlays

If you are using StreamElements or Streamlabs for your Alert notification, the best way to add those events in the OBS is by clicking on the  “+” and selecting “Browser ” from the menu and here you add a link you got from StreamElements or Streamlabs

Scenes Import

Unfortunately, currently, we don’t have one-click import option for OBS Studio.

But there are some quick workarounds you can use if you want to get all our premade scenes in your OBS

You would need Streamlabs OBS  SLOBS (since we do provide one-click setup for the SLOBS for most of our designs, please check on the product description does it include import overlay)

You can check this link to understand more about how to use the SLOBS import option

Import Streamlabs SLOBS Overlay file

Once you imported all scenes in the SLOBS you can open OBS/OBS.Live and in the top menu go to the ” Scene Collections”

Click on the “Import” and a new small window will open with the Detected Application click on the check box near the Name of the scenes you want to import and click on the Import.

Now go back to the “Scene Collection and in the dropdown menu you will see scenes that you imported just click on it and it will load for you.
